What you can qualify for, where to register and when to do it.
Every horse competing must be microchipped by a licensed veterinarian prior to competition. Please then update your USEF registration profile to include this microchip information online. All information below is subject to changes, PLEASE check the sponsors website, prize list and membership pages for up to date details.

These are annual memberships that need to be renewed by December 1st for the following year. Lifetime Memberships are available. These are in addition to the ones below.

National Equitation Regionals/Finals Memberships
These are annual memberships that need to be renewed by August 29th for the following years competition, prior to competing. All require that the rider, horse, and horse's owner be USEF/USHJA members for points to count. Click the links to learn more details about the qualification specifications:

USHJA Pony Medal Final-( Earn 30 points by July 1, Held at Pony Finals in KY)

Young Rider Championship (NAYRC): athletes FEI ages 16 - 21, fences up to 1.50m

CSIOY Teams consists of 4 U.S. Athletes between the ages of 16 to 21, who compete at 1.45m.
CSIOJ Teams consists of 4 U.S. Athletes between the FEI ages of 14 to 18, who compete at 1.40m.
CSIOCh Teams consists of 4 U.S. Athletes between the FEI ages of 12 to 14, who compete at 1.20m

Pony Hunter Derby Championships - East Coast Championship held at Kentucky Summer Classic Horse Show
International Hunter Derby (February 1st) - up to 4'
Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter Regionals (Must apply to qualify) - 3'
National Hunter Derby (December 1st)-Just need USEF/USHJA - 3' to 3'5
Green Hunter Incentive (December 1st) - Green Division Height, 3' to 3'9
Junior Hunter National Championships - Division Heights, 3'3 to 3'6 ( December 1 to May 31st)
Devon Horse Show and Country Fair (Apply by as soon as prize list is released early in year, Notification of Acceptance by May 2nd and Show is held end of May. Pony, JR/AO Hunters
AON/USHJA National Hunter Championships - Division Heights, 2' to 4' (December 1 to September 13)
