Every horse competing must be microchipped by a licensed veterinarian prior to competition.  Please then update your USEF registration profile to include this microchip information online.  All information below is subject to changes, PLEASE check the sponsors website, prize list  and membership pages for up to date details.

Qualifying for the Championships differs based on the division in which you want to qualify. However, all entrants must pre-enter the competition with a nonrefundable $50 application fee by September 13. Twenty (20) horses will be accepted per section (except 3’6” Junior Hunters which will be 15 horses per section) as follows: Top two entered horses for each Zone (ranked in the top 10), based on points accumulated during the qualifying period from Dec. 1, 2018, to Sept. 13, 2019) will be accepted. If either of the top two entered horses for a zone decline, entries will be accepted by working down the zone’s qualifying list through 10th. Ties will be broken by entry postmark date. If there are not enough entries through the zone qualifying process, entered horses will be accepted by total highest national points accumulated during the qualifying period regardless of zone. If a section doesn’t have a national standings list, the zone points will be compiled into a nationally ranked list. Horses must have won a minimum of .5 Zone/National points during the qualifying period.

Qualifying for the Open 1.20m, 1.30m, 1.40m Jumper Sections 1. Thirty (30) athletes will be accepted per section. 2. Athletes wishing to be considered for qualification to the USHJA National Championships must pre-enter with a $50 application fee to declare their intent to compete by September 13, 2019 regardless of their qualification status. 3. If there are fifteen (15) athletes or fewer entered in a given section by the application deadline, each athlete may ride a maximum of two horses. (Maximum 30 entries) Horses must have a minimum of 250 points/money won on the National List to be eligible to compete. 4. Qualification for 1.20m and 1.30 Open Jumper Sections: a. The top three athletes from the 1.20m and 1.30m Zone (HOTY) Standings Lists through tenth (10th) will be accepted. b. If there are fewer than three entries from the Zone (HOTY) Standings List, athletes will be accepted by the total money won accrued during the qualifying period from the National List regardless of Zone.
